Post subject:  Clutch issues, advice required

OK so here is what I know. Over the last couple of weeks when the car has been running a while or driving in heavy traffic I notice when I let my foot off the clutch it grabs, then Dad said he drove it and it was rather hard to get into gear.

On Saturday I got into it, put my foot on the clutch and it went straight to the floor, no resistance, I didn't think much of this, and tried to put it into gear, nothing, wouldn't budge at all.

After Dad bleeding the clutch, checking slave and master cylinders, Diagnois Clutch is gone.

You guys reckon this sounds about right? And has anyone put a clutch in a late model Rover Mini? What costs am I looking at :?:

PS- I'm really over Mini's too, sick of things breaking on them everytime I take the bloody things out. Thinking I might even sell the Lurekr Mini I've got, now I have a company car to get to and from work.

i dont know alot about clutches but i've had more than a few clutch issues :(

it shouldnt be too hard/expensive to fix it though, i've had to pay to have my clutch fixed about 3 times.

It`s probably just the clutch arm breaking/cracking the little ball on the lower end of it

it`s easy enough to check, just pull the arm off & look

:-)
