You all probably know about this - but I just found it and think the pics are a great resource.

Ive been trying to build up a picture of the world when my 65 Deluxe would have been a contemporary car.

Thanks for that, I have seen a few of those photos before but there are a lot of new ones.
Notice the Cooper S engines getting hot run tested. :shock:

Yeah, the Hot Run was just a quick fire up the engine to make sure it had the required number of oil leaks before it was fitted to the car.

Yeah - bit lucky, I've not had much luck (read any) finding images on the factory, aussie brochures, even anything like promo pics of the dealers yards in the hey days, so this was a happy find. 8)

Those guys were probably first year apprentices. Only workshop hand tool excersizes for those noobs...
