am looking for a new radiator and there so happens to be a few on ebay , in brisbane even, and close enough to have a look. if i go to have a look before buying what should i be looking at to tell if in good condition. also what core radiator should i get. i have a 1000 cc mini , as far as i know nothing major done to it.

Ah I'm not to sure what to look for from the outside, usually the problems are on the inside. If they are cheap then you could just wing it and use the left over cash to take them to a radiator place to be cleaned out/repaired. That is if there used.

But you will want a 3 core or 2 core. A 4 core won't fit on a round nose apparently.
The 2 core is easily damaged but is supposed to be better at cooling but a 3 core should be fine for a standard 998. Also in a 3 core a 16 fins per inch is the radiator to get, I think, I can't remember.

I run a 2 core in my 998 and its a great rad, but if your going for a 3 core make sure you get one out of an Oz car and get it cleaned and checked before you put it in..
