Hi All. I am upgrading my carby from a 1.25 to a 1.5 and i have a few question.

1- Is it normal that on the 1.5 the throtle and choke cable are on the opposite side then on the 1.25?

2- On my 1.25 there is a kind of plate that goes between the carby and the manifold where the throttle cable goes throught, do i need one of those for a 1.5, i assume i do. Where can i get one of those for a 1.5

Thanks very much.

EDIT: Also as there is 2 parts between the carby and the manifold, do i need 3 gasket. And do i need to put gasket sealant like on the engine???

Basically yes and yes . Check with your local mini wrecker/recycler place as most should have some kicking around , failing that put a wanted ad up and see who's got one sitting around . You will also need a spacer between the original 1 1/2" manifold and the carb if you haven't already got one .
