Yep no worries.

1. Make sure you put the drivers seat on the right side of the passengers seat.
If you dont then the driver will be on the left and that makes steering hard.
2. Have the seats facing forward. This way you can see where you're going.
3. Seatbelt goes over the seat, since its more comfortable to wear that way.
4. Seats are best held in with bolts. Glue is great but makes a mess on the carpet.

:D

I have the cobra type railings for my sparco seats.
They use the factory seat mounts, and two extra bolts through the floor.
They can be pricey to buy, but are the best and easiest for the job.

Do you have anything already?
:D

No photos sorry.
My setup originally didn't have the two floor bolts at the rear.
So the seats flipped forward like normal. Since my seats are highbacks they barely went far enough to get anyone in, but they did.
:D

Well, in mine the seats were fixed back (no angle adjust) and the top of the seat hit the roof at about 20 degrees tilt.
I don't put passengers in the back of a mini anyway, so it was of no issue to me.

I think your supposed to use a seat made for a two door car. Or else they don't flip forward and it is challenging to get into the back...

You could always just put a bucket seat in the drivers side and leave the passengers as it is...

post some pics of teh seats you have got.

i have sparcos in my race car, which i had a flat plate bent up to match bolt on the front crossmember, 2 bolts and seat is out, exactly the same design asd the original roundie seats.

in mad-mk1 i have reclining bucket seats, which i welded in another crossmember

cheers jamie

can i suggest you only put 1 bucket seat in and that the driver, im only putting one in, the missus can put up with sliding all over place because is isnt held in properly, and i can still get people in the back, its also the fact that even though i do trust my mates i dont trust their parrents and if i was to be in an accident and they get injured my fault or not because the seat is a modified fixture i will have the balls sued from me, where as i cant sue my self,

it would be good if we could do something like this legally: http://www.minifinity.com/modules.php?o ... at_fixings

We supply (and fit) Recaro's here at work.

This is the frame from our Work-Bus Triton.

You can see where the runners bolt into the 'tap rod' that runs the length of the seat, front-to-rear:

Just get your heights and mounts right, then work up from there....
