The small screw that holds the choke linkage onto the plastic jet on 1 1.25 SU. Can anyone describe the shape of the screw here? I have it down to a couple, but can't be sure... |

Mick, don`t forget the little sleave that goes in there, the screw tightens up on the sleave & not the jet. That way the jet is free to move & the sleave allows the lever to pivot OK??? some people forget about this sleave & then they wonder why the choke sticks ![]() |

I've been looking through my box of little bits for the sleeves, I think they fell through the chip pans in the zinc process. I'll make myself up some more from brass tube I can get from hobby shop. It hasn't slowed me down otherwise, they look really good now that they've been blasted, sleeved, kitted and rebuilt. Just gotta paint the heat shields black and we're done. These aren't even the ones for the cooper resto, these are the spares ![]() |
