| Post subject: | Half moon seal |
Hi all, Just interested what sort of sealant if any do you mini owners put on that half moon seal between box and block? Ive used the loctite 515 before with no probs but does there really have to be anything else used? If so what do you recommend?Cheers!! |

I've used Loctite 515 for years without problems. Before that I used Permatex (now Loctite) No 3 gasket cement. 
The plastic ones seal pretty good. I also have a NOS cork one here, but it's so old I'd never trust it.
