Holy rediculous price Batman!

I don't think people should winge if they got a tank for $500 now

I can't believe people would pay that much considering it MAY not have been used before. It looks to me as though they are bidding as if it is NOS.

It looks like a mint one. I may have to get my r/h tank out and give it a good clean up, then see if I want to sell it.
Cheers Paul

Does "as new" mean "new" or does it mean like it was when new?

As with everything in life, the first bight is always with the eye, and that tank sure has the bling factor going for it.

I'd want it to be full of Hydrazine for that.

I'm sure glad I bought my tank when I first bought my Mini, and I thought I was getting ripped off at $150. Prices must have shot up over the last 3 years. Mine wasn't very clean when I bought it, had some surface rust wear the paint was scratched. But still, a can of gloss black isn't worth that much.

Or somebody wants that tank real bad.

I remember buying one brand spankers for $200 from old mate Jack Read. I didn't think it was too costly but the look in his eyes when I asked for it told me there might have been some margin in the deal.

The irony of this sale is that I know at least one of the bidders on that tank have sold them in the past!

He would be brave to pay that much, and then try to sell it late.
