Well , I've been a moderator here since Septemberish (not entirely sure when I started ...) last year and feel that the end of the year is a reasonable time to step down . I will still be a regular member of ausmini next year , just not a moderator for the following reasons ,

Firstly as a lot of you are aware from my avatar we are expecting a brother or sister for the little dude in April . That means getting the house ready again for a newborn along with moving the little dude out of the nursery into another bedroom which has yet to be decorated so I'm going to be busy .

Secondly , while I honestly believe the 4 current mods are working well together , some fresh ideas and enthusiasm would help so I'm stepping down and we're bringing in two new mods . I'll still be around as a mod till the end of December to help show the new mods the ropes and ensure a smooth changeover .

Thirdly , I want to go back to being able to post whatever I want without having to think about whether I've modded someone for posting a similar thing recently

I'd like to thank everyone who's supported me both publicly in the forums and privately through PM's throughout my time as a mod .

Last night the current mods had a discussion about some new mods , we came up with 4 names and voted to choose the two we felt were the best for the positions . Pete (pristic) and Nick (1018cc) are the two new mods who will have their mod-ness activated soon , good luck guy's .

Yeah I know what you mean JC, I thought about that (for about 2 seconds - I still can't believe I've been asked) but how many times am I going to be asked to be a mod?

Ausmini needs mods - imagine how everything would be if there was none?

Having said that I am looking really forward to it! I think it will be a great experience.
