So i loaned the mini to the my girlfriend for 1 day and i thought i'd check the oil and water as you do.....

No radiator cap....bugger all water! if any....

Its probably my fault i do my weekly checkups perhaps i didn't replace the cap properly, but its kinda weird?

Anyone know which one i need?

its an 850. I thought there were two types a long one and a short one.

Can you pick these up from repco or supercheap?

Cheers,

Michael.

You might, but better off going to a radiator shop, they will have what you need. The neck could have been changed any time in the last 40 years, measure the depth and go with that.

Yes , definitely look for it in case it's hooked somewhere in the radiator shroud , I've seen the damage a cap can do if it falls into the fan (Jason ???? )

When I needed a new one I just went to Repco and they happened to have a 13lb long neck radiator cap in stock! I did take an old one in with me though. Maybe try there (don't try supercheap - those school kids don't know what they are doing).
