*cough* weber *cough* ![]() But seriously 1 3/4 would be OK for 1380. It depends on the intake manifold and what state of tune your 1380 is. It depends on what you want out of your mini... Quiet performance, all out performance, originality look |

twin 1" 1/2's will be fine, so would a single 1" 3/4. |

Depends what you want to do with it really , if you want to race it , or do some hillclimbs then you will need 1 1/2's or 3/4's . If its just a road car then 1 1/4's are more than adequate . My 1380 Cooper S runs fine with 1 1/4's . |

As someone else has said-the inlet manifold is very important.I'm running twin 1 3/4s with Maniflow manifold match ported to the head.I was on 1 1/2 twins. Also get some decent airfilters. Get it on a dyno when you have it ready to run. ![]() |

have to agree with all the above... Twin 1/4 or 1/2's Single Hif44 or even Weber/Dellorto 40 or 45's will do the job perfectly. Which ever route you take..Take the time an a few extra $$ to go the dyno and get it perfect to finish with...Don't just do Half a Up Grade |
