what the best fan foor cooling the radiator in the mini. im going to change radiator, water pump etc and thought why not. there are a few on minisport and i just dont know. though t id ask some pplz that might be in the know. thanks |

You will get more opinions on here than there are different fans... ![]() My 2 bob's worth- for road use I like the 16 blade metal one. ![]() It keeps my 1360 (86.6HP ATW) cool in hot weather, no probs. The radiator is a stock Mini Deluxe/Cooper S one, reconditioned. ![]() |

My 6 blade does a good job up here in the heat. Little bit noisy, but i can barely hear it over the exhaust/stereo. |

Any fan works, some work better than others, but if you have a bad radiator or rusty waterways then all fans are useless. Just use the fan that came with your original engine as changing fans may mean needing to change radiator steady brackets and aquiring correct fan spacers. |

?? Plastic fan was on late roundies as well as all Clubbies. Fans are all the same fitment, metal 16 blade vs plastic one etc- to use the alloy spacer or not depends on what you have already. If ya got one (ie in a Clubby) when you swap fans, keep it in. ![]() |
