| Post subject: | Steering Racks |
Hey All Just a quick question about steering racks, I have heard of a few different ones over in the UK, quick racks etc Has anyone bought one of these or driven a mini with one? Are these worth it? Who supplies them in OZ? I have a feeling I will have to put stoppers in my rack, does anyone know of these stoppers here? I am building a VTEC in a std round nose! Cheers |

anyone should be able to get one in.... i think minisport (here in adl) do them, since they're tied to minispares... |

karcraft list them... retail is $271 but a 2.2 turn rack is just a higher ratio, the amount of lock/turning circle is the same (someone correct me if I'm wrong) I don't see the point, an aussie rack is 2.4 turns, couldn't make much difference 
it'd be pretty simple to machine up a collar to go into either end of an aussie rack to limit the travel on either end - basically making the body longer |
