when i rebuilt my subframe to undo the brackets holding on the traiiling arms required an accidental breaking of the nuts welded to the inside of the frame. to fix that problem i have used new nuts and bolts, but couldnt get a welder in there to secure them, now ive found that the tyre seems to be dirty fromt eh concrete in my shed, but not all the way across. and i feel it is due to my brackets moving when i put things together, should i remove the brackets and just put them back on. or. buy these and be donr with it? andyone else had this problem? http://www.minisport.com.au/prod19.htm |

probably.... and you'll need to get the rear wheel alignment done properly by a wheel alignment joint |

Yeah, i don't think thats going to fix your problem. With the nuts 'loose' you could fix (make permanent) the amount of camber to counter the movement of the nuts/bolts. But whats to say that the nuts/bolts won't move in the other direction giving you too much positive or negative camber? ning nong of a thing to happen but I reckon you need to weld the captive nuts back on. |
