Bit late to post this now I guess, nearly my bed time so I can get up and go to the Bendigo Swap Meet at 6am. Anyone else going? I haven't been for years but it used to be great. I have heard ebay has killed a few of these type of events, still nice day for a drive with a mate who is keen to go. Never get the missus to an event like that! If I thought of it earlier and others were going we could have made it an ausmini drive. Maybe next year unless you see me on the highway on the way up. Cheers.

Where do I find a list of the places and dates for the Victorian swap meets that have a strong BMC/Mini presence?

I've been a member of VMCI for over a decade and can't remember having seen notices of swap meets in the journal or on the website.

Mini/BMC etc content is never guaranteed.

Tthe trading post used to list the swap meets, but not anymore. Now it's basically word of mouth.

FYI, I got a flyer at the Bendigo meet today with the following info.

Whittlesea Swap Meet, Saturday December 1, Whittlesea showgrounds, Yea Rd, Whittlesea.

Epping Swap Meet, Sunday February 3 2008, Epping rec reserve, Melway 182 B8 enter via Park St.

Maybe see you there!

What was your assessment of the Bendigo Meet today? To what extent was there a Mini presence?
