I was pinching the dizzy off one of my minis today and I thought I would ask here to find out what it is. (round front, 3 gauge cluster. horrid rear clubby lights and bumper)

Type: YMA 232
Car Number: 12g94
Engine Number 9ya/to/h 13395 (although now has a 1100)
Colour 1/togga white / 3

any ideas? im no good with numbers.

A very bastardised mini deluxe , it should read YMA2S2 not 232 and the engine number should be 9ya/ta/h etc . Clubby lights etc have been added at some stage , someone else should be able to give a rough idea of year from the engine number .

EDIT , compare the engine number with the ones in here , http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=37892

would be an early-ish deluxe, with toga white and an engine number like that - but it would by 9ya/ta

if the 2S2 is indeed stamped as 232, maybe the bloke doing the stamping that day couldn't find his 'S', and used a '3' instead.... my car has a seating capacity of 'S' stamped on the plate, me and the rego lady decided it was meant to be 5

Yeah, but you live in the sticks ;) The kids aren't allowed in the Mini in Melbourne, and they're not happy about it
