My mini is getting a new interior.. i dropped it off last night and should be ready in a week,

i want a center console - i have the old style center ignition ect...

has anyone built or bought a console?

have any plans they are willing to share?

would like to build one this week so i can get it trimmed the same as my doors,

or ill get one shipped from the uk... but im poor lol...... and it will have to wait

I found a plan for one looking around on the net, am going to make it from cardboard tonight and try it out in my mates mini,

its not a very good looking one but may ba a good starting point.

I quite like the ones that can be bought from mini shops in the uk though... dads going over in a month......

this was bourght from super trim in vic years ago...freind of mine copied it and made it fit a clubman...so this one can be made to fit most minis

It also fits over the starlet shifter mechanism so WOO HOO!!

will add ..only problem is most consoles are very close to the cutch pedal so this will be one thing you will have to consider...
i only had problems when i wore large boots etc...
this console came trimmed in my choice of materail and diddnt have the gear boot etc cut.
i got the gear leaver suround from autobarn but the same thing can be brought from supercheap.
