Got a good mate in UK that bought a set of Suffolk seats from Newton Commerical.

He's offered them to me for nix if I want them as he's redoing the entire car ( more money that sense this one ). Of course the shipping will be around 300GBP so was just wondering if anyone had any first hand experience with them? I'm presuming that like the rest of NC's gear they're top notch.

He has nothing but good things to say about them, but then again he is getting rid of them!

Any ideas or comments?

From all the accounts I have heard about NC I haven't heard any bad. I've never used them (I use local trimmers) but I'm sure someone will pipe in and have a set in their car etc.

Personally, I wouldn't have any problems going with them.

Figured as much. I like the look of them, plus they're already in dove grey the colour of my interior.

Just seems like a total win/win deal and even though I've known the guy for a million years, I get nervous when things go my way for a change :P

So that just leaves me with a set of dove grey cobra classic buckets ( no headrests ) to find a new home for in a couple of weeks(ish).

The best thing that can be said for Newton Commercial trim is that it is available. If you're thinking of buying some to match it to original trim in your car, it wouldn't fool Stevie Wonder or Ray Charles.

Cant say I'v sat my arse in Newton but I know a number of people that have purchased a number of stuff from them and its great quility. Specialy as its the same Colour it will set off the interior perfectly if you are happy with the price I would do it also and at least you will be unique in AUS
Whats the shipping price then
They do look nice

Thanks for all the input guys, should have the exact weight and dimensions tonight so I can get a shipping quote. I'm guessing though given the weight around 200GBP.

Cobra seats sold reeeally fast :o I'll miss 'em.

I've heard that the quality of the Newton upholstery has decreased in recent years. They are using thinner and cheaper vinyl than before.
