Mmmm Wade Blower..... usually fitted to the Commer Trucks I believe as a scavenge pump .....

Excellent blowers...... if i had the room, I'd be grabbing this.. excellent price....

yea, but its cheap.... (ish) for a blower.....

Dammit.. i might just cave in a grab it ....
WOuld need to machine a blower drive and inlet plate though.....

Its a easonably big one though.. would need to be under-driven about 30% ....

Bugger, I hate indecision......

Ive got a "secret" ebay method.....

Wade blower is similar to the Detroit Diesel blowers (6/71 etc) but smaller. Off a `Commer Knocker' T3, 2 stroke diesel. Antique now.
Not very efficient, and only low pressure. These are designed for 3-5 psi into the 2 stroke diesel's airbox if I remember.
<edit> This pressure was used to scavenge the exhaust out the ports and fill the cylinders with air.

Forget it- I'd hold out for an MR2 one or similar. 8)
