Post subject: | Strange wiring SS |
Hi all have been trying to work out the wiring on my SS have have got connections for all but 2 wires in the dash. 2 large wires one blue and the other blue/yellow one is a male spade that is covered and the other a female that is also cover so not to short anything out. Cannot get any power to them and being an idiot have already tidyed up the engine bay wiring and cannot find where they go to in the engine bay, with out undoing all my good work. ![]() Thanks Dean |

Process of elimination: Radio connected - with original wires? Heated rear screen connected? Driving Lights connected? heater/demister fan works? Thats about all I can think of in the dash that might be hanging around loose. |

Blue is headlight circuit ; blue/yellow is long range driving light switch to lamp - if the convention has been followed ![]() |

Seem to have found all the above but still have these 2 left over, they are the same thickness as the blue wire to the light switch |

Do you have driving lights? If so then the blue wire comes off the terminal with the blue wire on your headlight switch and goes to the driving light switch. Then the blue/yellow goes from the driving light switch to the driving lights. ( personally I would run them through a relay) If you don't have driving lights and/or a spare stitch - forget the wires and don't hook them to anything. ![]() |
