hi all
can i put a k&n filter on a standed su is it a matter of just getting 1 that fits or do u have to change some things

you buy them as a kit dont you with a backing plate that replaces the "trumpet" thingy?

Hi The Bean , mini engine conversions is for discussing putting non mini engine's into mini's so a question like this one probably won't get many replies there . It's best to keep these type of questions in mini chat or Mini & A/A+ series mods for people to find them .

To put peoples minds at ease, and answer all the questions...

No its not dirt, but actually a wear mark from when i ran a single SU during my engine run in period. The filter housing rubbed against it.

The dash pot piston covers are the same colour, it looks different just because of the cameras flash.

Unacceptable. It must be replaced, or cleaned and polished within an inch of its life :P :lol:

Yeah i know. Its not seen when looking at the engine bay. Bit lazy though i know.....It should be replaced.

but that bay looks neat as, you can buy
k&n filters like the ramflo ones, not sure bout in auz tho

Hi i got a K and N air filter for my 1 1/2 inch su carbbie it cost me 160 dollars from super cheap the part number is: KN56-9320 i doubt they would heve it in stock so they would have to order it.
