You'd have to fit spacer drums. |

my understanding, is the offset drum will push the rim to needing flares. no offest will rub inside on the various arms etc. so some spacers machined down to half would work better yes? Cheers Aaron |

On anything up to 4.5" wide 145's will look and handle better. |

On the rear they will rub the trailing arm. They will also make the car very squirmy to drive. Not good and not recommended. ![]() |

You can get Bridgestone SF226 145's in a 12... can you get them in a 10? |

sorry to disappoint you gents... ![]() on the rear is a bridgestone 165 on a 5 or so inch widended steel rim on a non-spacered drum sitting, as i can see, nicely under the arch.. without rubbing ![]() |

Cush unless it's a widened S rim you're talking different inset figures. |

BAM! I know for a fact that a Clubman S rim (same offset as an S rim) will foul without spacer drums on the back. |

Hijack here, are we saying that a 165/12 on a 4.5in rim, will drive worse than a 145 ? |

jbeenz - I think we're talking 10's, but yes, that's been my experience. You can feel the sidewall flex in a 165 on a 4.5" rim. |
