Hi all. Been a long time since I dismantled the front end of my 77 clubby I didn't realise that the driveshafts are right & left handed (according to the Mini Kingdom catalogue). Unfortunately I didn't mark them. Can anyone please tell me how to identify which goes where? Thanks Scotty |

just try them and see - it's pretty obvious when you look at it.... the diff is offset to one side of the car buuut, it's the right hand side that is longer ![]() |

Yeah. It would have been easy if the engine was in the subframe, but not so, they're both out of the car & I've just rebuild the front hubs etc & want to finish assembling them. Thanks Scotty. |

There's no way you could put it together wrong, they're very different lengths and just won't fit the wrong way around. |

Just knock the cv's off the driveshafts and assemble them that way , you don't have to worry about controlling driveshafts when you move subframe then either . |
