Hey who do people recommend for an engine rebuild in Canberra? And also how much does it cost for an "average" rebuild? Thanks |

i reckon about 1500 to 2500 for a rebuild. |

Depends on whats worn and needs replacing and also if you want to hotten the engine up. Basic rebuild $1200-$2000 and also allow an extra $500-$1000 for the gearbox too. Hot it up a little and add an extra $1000 for head work(porting and polish and larger valves) and a hot cam. Can add up

I used Phillip Head Services to build my short motor, they did an excellent job. Not that I have put the engine in the car yet. |
