First day with the ball joint fixed on the Moke

I dropped my daughter to school and had a ball. Its amazing the fun you can have at 25mph (or 15mph up the hills). She was laughing like a fool which makes it all worthwhile.

Even smoked a public bus at the lights, and out dragged a diesel powered school mum special up the Vaucluse bends.

Thanks to everybody that helped to make it a reality.

when I get some more power - at the moment I doubt it willl get over the hills near Bullahdelah. If I achieve a vmax of 60mph sustained without wanting to explode it will do the trip.

Yaaay Fun.
I'm getting excited now. My mini should be on the road this week after about 7 years 'resting' in my garage. (complete rebuild rest)
It is the fun of driving em that non mini owners will never understand...

I get a real kick out of letting non mini owners drive mine and watch them grinning away at the sheer enjoyment value....

My miss 6 and I cruse up and down the Mooloolaba strip with "its a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll" - flat out. She is head banging - blond locks of hair flowing in the breeze. It does not get much better.

Have fun BIAM and keep the wheels on the beast! :D :D :D

He didn't tell us how much he saved in $fuel$ by taking the moke instead of the Exxon Valdez.

He hasn't had time to work it out yet , he's still got Caltex and BP asking him why their sales have dropped by 30% since the moke hit the road :P
