Hey who do people recommend for an engine rebuild in Canberra? And also how much does it cost for an "average" rebuild? Thanks

Depends on whats worn and needs replacing and also if you want to hotten the engine up. Basic rebuild $1200-$2000 and also allow an extra $500-$1000 for the gearbox too. Hot it up a little and add an extra $1000 for head work(porting and polish and larger valves) and a hot cam. Can add up

I used Phillip Head Services to build my short motor, they did an excellent job. Not that I have put the engine in the car yet.
