Yep my wife has mention this many times. 4WD are a proble with thier lights so high and reflecting in the mirrors

you can always increase your braking gap even further. instead of the recommended 3 sec gap, make it 6 sec. Every time they get closer increase the gap. works for me on the bike. if you are still going the same speed as the car in front of you but maintain the gap, the tailgaters face usually gets all confused.  how can that mini in front of me be doing the same speed as the car in front of it without being up its bum 
I know,  they are all short sighted and forgot their glasses, so they can't see you unless they are 1ft away

I've always thought that as well, but think about it, we are all sitting at the most 150mm off the ground, so when a 4WD comes into view, they're so tall it looks like they've got high beam on......but they don't cos we are so low and small......  .
It's all about perspective methinks

yeah happens to me along the highway :S im sitting on 70 or so and the idiots don't go round, they just sit on ur ass real close and work them self's into a fury. yeah, 4wd's. bogans in crappy ford falcons or in my case, cops.
I think us ausmini people should think up a affective, non offensive bumper sticker for this, get a few made up! any one got any bright ideas? |

i always found the more they tailgate me the more i slow down (unless im in a hurry) and soon you go so slow they get so shitty they just turn off
