Anybody know what size the thread is on the temp sender in a 1275 head?

I just bought and electric autometer water temp gauge and the adapter fitting goes in half a turn then starts to cross thread itself... Funny thing is, i'm replacing a mechanical water temp gauge by autometer and when i compare the threads together they match up.

Just my luck!

Glad to help....

Sometimes the search engine needs a bit of voodoo to get it to work...
