I finally picked the girl up from Link last night. After being without a car for about 3 weeks. About 2.5k later and she's all better.

Clutch arm, radiator, cylinder head etc, all been replaced.

I'm like a kid in a candy store. And I must say she is running alot better and quicker.

Them people at link are magic huh?
Think they have been a bit busy there over recent times. I got mine back on tuesday, it was there for over a month for a job that was supposed to take a week.
Brian said he wished someone who knows mini's would open up a workshop near there to lessen their load.
You know when you get it back from link that the job has been done once and properly.

Enjoy...

Yeh I know what your saying... and yes they are magic.

I'm always happy to wait for my car no matter how long it takes, coz I know it will be worth it.

would agree with all your coments regarding link...99% of the time there excelent...ive been going there since 1996 and they have helped me build two minis so far and ive gotten some parts from them for the one im building now too...
brian is great and will allways go that little bit further to make you happy but i will say ....he has his Favorites....mainiy the ones who have spent lots of money...but i guse you get that anywere..there prices and labour costs are cheap compared to other places too....and most of the time when people build a mini and it dosent turn out they way they planed....it gets sent to link....as they can fix anything..they had a super charged unit there last month from nsw....

theres my two cents worth....all have a merry xmas.....
