Post subject:  hey need help installing a 10 row oil cooler

heyy thier i have a mini innocentii

i try installing a 10 row oil cooler but i cant seem to find a place where it will fitt

pictures would help alot





i have put some pics up to show u how the engine bay looks like

the standard spot for a Cooper S is right in the centre of this photo, cut where I've marked in red, and fold it back, drill a couple of holes and mount the cooler there. You'll need some re-inforcing to stop it flexing - standard S again was a pair of brackets that went from the lower lip of the beaver panel up and they had a 90* bend in them that went under that lip. The bent part was longer than the lip, and had another screw hole in it that lines up with the rear mounting holes in the cooler

you'll probably need to space out the grille to keep it from rubbing on the cooler

are you sure? might work it if you swap the hoses around so the longer one is coming out of the block?

in any case, you ought to be able to buy them from enzed or something... just take in what you've got and say "I want this but longer"...

to mount it anywhere else you'd probably need different pipes to those anyway
