Was thinking just for a laugh, as you would never get it engineered how hard would it be to put a front subframe and steering in the back to create a 4 wheel steer Mini?
I dont possess the engineering skill to attempt such a thing but imagine the turning circle you could have. Has it ever been done? If you could get the rear wheels to go same as front then you could really have some fun in slaloms. Better still keep the engine connected for a 4WD 4WS twin engine :)............ just getting silly now.

Doesn't the steering rack have 2 inputs, if so you may be able to use one as an out-put and through a series of universal joints run a steering rod to the rear and attach it to the rear steering rack :? :? :? 8) yes I've thought about this  and I don't know exactly if it's true but I'll say it theory of a mad man, it's possible :P

Stop it! I don't need any more dumb ideas!

You'll have to come over some time Mark & have a look at my Goggomobil with two mini front subframes - it can & has been done.
