Hi I know this may seem like a wanted ad, but the hinge on the van vent has gone rusty and loose and thinking of either replacing the hinge or sourcing a new one, So Firstly what is best way to solve it And where could I get a new Vent or Secong hamd one Thanks Monte |

I rehinged one with a couple of small hinges side by side. I bought these from bunnings and soldered them on. |

i use loads of small piano hinge at work for spa doors, but to big will keep ur idea in mind, it seems to big so hence why iwas open to ideas, thanks bromley for speedy idea Monte |

The part number for this from the Oz PUB1056M Parts Book is 88G486. If you Google this you will find a couple of overseas suppliers, or try some of the usual local Mini parts suppliers. |

I thought piano hinges came in a number of sizes. I'm sure I was able to pick them up from Bunnings for a past project in either either stainless or galvanised mild steel. |
