Hey Guys!

Just wondering if anyone can tell me exactly how big a 1st oversize drum brake would be?

Cheers

1st oversize is + 1/32"
2nd is + 1/16".
Get the brake shop to supply rebonded shoes to suit, they are radius ground to the right curvature.
Don't try and use stock shoes, they will be worn out before worn in.

don't bother grinding them..... it's a waste of time, new drums are $40 each and are a whole lot easier in the long run - dealing with oversize shoes is a pain in the arse

Well looks like they're already 2nd OS... And they're out of round so it'll be new ones anyways...

Cheers!

By the time they get to + 1/16" O/S they are getting pretty thin. I take them out to 1st oversize only, use `em then bin `em.
