I basically explained how i bought another mini etc...

I picked it up on staurday, but wasnt able to post more info about it for obvious reasons.

Heres some more pictures.

The hatch seems to work quite well, but is mainly fabricated from fibre-glass and needs alot of work.

Dad was surprised to see that, upon pulling out the dipstick, the engine oil was like new, and there was also clean oil in both of the carbs.

I would suggest that before you get too involved in the restoration, that you consult an engineer to see that you will actually be able to register it when it's finished.

Like I said in the other thread, the car is a very early Mini Clubman. Does it have a Compliance plate?

It looks like they got half way through the hatch conversion and gave up. :?

I spotted a registered mini in bris last week with hatch mod. Its boot went all the way to the bottom of the original boot. Decent job too, it looked really good.
