i urgently need to know what the part number is for the 1st gear assembly that has the second speed syncroniser attached. its for a 3 sycnro gearbox with A type gears from a morris 850. in my parts books all i see is either 22a440 or 22G357. i know one of these is cooper and the other is 850 but i dont know which is which. was there a difference between cooper and 850 ratios? any help would be greatly appreciated.

the 22G440 1st gear & hub fits both the Cooper and 850.
The 997 Cooper had closer ratio gears than an 850, but the gears that were different to achieve this were 3rd gear, the cluster gear, and the 1st motion shaft.
