Was taking apart my front suspension and got this when taking out one of the trumpets...... it really looks like puke :shock:

It`s just all the water draining into the strut carrying any dirt & grit with it along the way causing corrosion & yeah it does turn all gungey & yukky like that,,, do yourself a favour & buy some adjustable "Hi-Los" to fit in place of them & make sure you coat them with "coppercoat" & also drill a hole in through the side of them so that the water drains out easy

They're the trumpets from my ute resto, so there will be a set of hi-lo's going on (with other numerous goodies). I will of course keep the ute resto page updated with pics as I go :)
