Hello i thought i would introduce myself. My name is Ryan from shepparton victoria and would like to restore a mini. I'm hoping to get a cooper s either mk1 or mk2. I have seen cooper s sold between 9k and 16k in good condition and restored ones between 20k and 30k. Is this in the ballpark? any other opinions / suggestions would be helpful. Cheers Wolfmini |

The advice given to me was buy the best one you can afford to reduce the amount of work that is required. Also, make sure if you are paying for a Cooper S you actually get a Cooper S. Many will tell you on ausmini that you can have just as much fun in a non S mini and with the money you save on the purchase you can bring it up to whatever standard you want with all the good bits. Good luck and enjoy! |

Is this in the ballpark? any other opinions / suggestions would be helpful. Cheers Wolfmini As others have said - but even one in very poor condition will cost you $7k. Then twenty thousand to restore it. The numbers you quoted are a ball park. So, buy the best you can afford but again as others have said - know that you are buying an S not a replica. Become a Cooper S replica detection expert before you part with any money. Mike |

Check all the numbers before you buy anything to verify it is what you think it is ![]() |
