One of the bolts that mounts the clutch master to the firewall has fallen out and down into the pedalbox. I am aware they were originally tack welded in place, but mine seems to have decided it liked it better in the car.

Is there an easy way out of this? what a bitch of a job. It's going to be bloody hard to shove a newone up through the hole, get a nut on it and then tighten it up.

How about installing it upside down.

If the bolt is facing down you could brace a spanner against the firewall then put the nut on inside the car.

Otherwise just retack it on with a Mig

how about just getting someone to help..... one person hold the bolt from the inside with a spanner on it, and the other do up the nut - it's not that hard Josh!

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.
