Just a quick question. Can you put a 1100s 1275 onto a 998 gearbox???

Sure can, straight on if it's a rodchange one, ie 998 Clubby or Rover..
If it's a Mini Deluxe, you can too but may have to grind the old 3 synchro box a bit.

You will need to fit a 1275 primary gear... the 998 one won't fit.

is it 3 synchro or 4

4 synchro no prob.
