Almost all racks these day are adjustable and will fit.plus dead easy to attach I use an old pair at home and they fit fine on my clubman S 77 . however i warn you if you get ones that are quite long at the ends then take caution getting out of the doors ive had many head aches forgetting. supercheap sell racks. I want to eventually get a basket.

Hope this helps

I have a set of Rola roof racks which fit onto a mini quite well and do not overhang the gutter, therefore no head aches.
I inherited them with one of the cars I purchased.
Not sure whether they would still be available?

The mini roof isn't that bad. With the formed rolled gutter it's actually a rather strong mounting point.

There is a guy in Toowoomba here who is part of the MOCQ and I don't reckon there is too much that he hasn't had on the roof of his mini. Trampoline's, couch's etc!

When they were fitted new all you could put on them was 40kg. That was going by the book. But my old man put 4 full 50L kegs of beer on his without a problem.
Cheers Pete

Mini roofs (rooves?) are tough, ours got caught in the December hailstorm and the roof didn't get a mark. But our AU Ford parked behind it is costing $7.5K to fix...

I just moved about 150kgs of dismantled wardrobe in 2 trips at the weekend on my roof bars - says max allowed is 40kg but seems to take 70-80kg just fine!

My roof bars are just cheapo ones - bought them from Ikea in the UK for £20 ($50). Haven't seen ones the same/similar in Aus though
