What did the steering wheel for the MK II cars (Cooper S, Mini K) look like. I assume it was a two-spoke type? What emblem was on the horn push (Leyland Australia?, British Leyland?). Does anyone have a picture? |

The article on the 1969 S in the latest TME said the wheels had BMC initially, then BLMC for a very short period, then Leyland 'spinning wheel'. I wonder what it was for an October 1970 MK II S? |

The early Clubman GTs (up to early '72) had 'British Leyland' on the steering wheel (they're the same as in the pic). Changed to 'Leyland Australia' about 04/05 72. Going by this, your wheel should probably have British Leyland on the pad. |
