What did the steering wheel for the MK II cars (Cooper S, Mini K) look like. I assume it was a two-spoke type? What emblem was on the horn push (Leyland Australia?, British Leyland?). Does anyone have a picture?

Thats the spot on wheel for a 69 Cooper S, BMC in the centre of the wheel, mini k's also had the same wheel.

The article on the 1969 S in the latest TME said the wheels had BMC initially, then BLMC for a very short period, then Leyland 'spinning wheel'. I wonder what it was for an October 1970 MK II S?

The early Clubman GTs (up to early '72) had 'British Leyland' on the steering wheel (they're the same as in the pic). Changed to 'Leyland Australia' about 04/05 72. Going by this, your wheel should probably have British Leyland on the pad.

My 3/70 MiniMatic had that same wheel too.
