This may sound a silly question, but which way does the coolant flow in a mini motor.
Does it go from waterpump to radiator or radiator to waterpump?

Rad to pump. Water falls as it cools, rises as it's heated (by the motor).
Many old cars (eg original Austin 7) had no water pump, they utilised this principle (thermo-siphon) to circulate the water.
