It's not just all about `tell em the price, son'... if they don't fit and work properly, they are junk.
I bought a rear pivot arm shaft a while back, the nut was fine on one end, but on the other it only had about 1/4 of normal thread engagement depth, if I'd done it up it would have stripped. So I returned it..
it gets worse...the number of firms who for years have provided after market bits and OEM spares being taken over and trashed is alarming....can't think of the name of the place, but they cut gears etc in SYD...bought out, sacked the people with the nous and moved all machinery to MEL...now they seem to have lost the ability to do what they were doin before

You can't get some pistons/bearings etc for older cars...etc etc the world is coming to an end
