Check the mini mania website. I think they had some dash template's on there. I think I found it once by searching ausmini. Keep in mind that all mini's are built differently - so leave a bit of extra meat around the edges incase it doesn't quite fit. |

Um, there used to be one on http://www.minifinity.com but they've gone and changed the site to a blog style with a new forum and I can't find the templates/measurements anymore (used to be in Tech Help Library I think) Edit: Dagnamit - took me 5 minutes to search through minifinity and then post this reply and in the meantime the template was already posted!! - That was the one that I used, even though i only made mine a half-dash cos i didn't want to dismantle the cluster. |

When I made my dash, I compared a couple of templates that I found (the one above was one of them, and it's the crap one if i remember correctly) and they can differ by quite a bit. Anyway, I used the bigger one of what I found as a starter, and trimmed it from there. I used 8mm MDF, but next time I'd use 10. ![]() |

I pull MDF out of mine, if your mini leaks like mine does the MDF can swell up and all that hard work can be ruined ![]() Just another thing to consider |

Years ago when I made one for the 850, I used 1/4" marine ply. ![]() Much better than that `MDF" pre-digested woodpulp... bends better too. |
