| Post subject: | Refitting front rubber suspension |
Drivers side suspension strut/cone broke in half the other day. I have pulled it all out and acquired a replacement strut/cone and a new ball pin (i think thats what its called). My question is how do I seat the rubber suspension in the top of the tower again? I'm presuming it fits around that circular collar in the top of the tower but I cant seem to get it to do that. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Matt |

You would require a rubber cone compressor tool. You insert the rubber cone only into position, then compress the spring with tool. Then insert other bit and slowly uncompress (well thats the general idea, never tried it myself) |

Yeah thats pritty much the drift, but if u have hi-lows u can get away without the compressor if you remove the wishbone. use the right tool for the job i say |
