Hi,

That sounds really suss. Do you original trumpets look to be cut down or modified at all? And you wound in both nuts on the hi-lo I presume? Got any pictures of the two side by side?

with the hi lo and rod in place it is exactly the same length as the trumpet, and the hilo is screwed all the way in. have you got any idea how long the rod should be.

the trumpets are original and have not been modified

thanks

jeff

Gordo not sure where your comming from thier..but have you also replaced the Donutes also as new ones will also raise the suspention also. If not make sure the Hilo is sitting in the donute all the way and dont forget it will settle and lower anyway

From memory i think you have to cut a inch off the hyrdo bars to obtain the right ride high with hi-lo's.

But its been a long time since i fitted a set so don't qoute me.
