i am thinking of putting 7.5 inch disk brakes on my mini van to keep ten inch wheels and was wondering what price a set of 7.5 will set me back??? :?:

about 1200 - 1500 for recon ones.

Worth it IMO. All up it cost me about 1200 to buy a SH set of metro hubs and then rebuild them....

Not worth the dramas. The mini shops generally sell you a kit with "everything" that you need.

ABSOLUTELY worth it, IMHO. $1500 should buy you a good reco setup, between there and $2000 for brand new.

If you've got a little extra to spend, consider Mini Spares (UK) 4-piston alloy calipers, I have them on my car and they are sensational. Beware though, they're a tight fit and may not clear your wheels (unless you have e.g. ROH Contessa's, which are fine).

The confidence that a disk-brake front end gives you is easily worth the $$.

you should be able to get a brand new setup complete with ball joints, bearings and CV's around the $1600 mark - a lot of people have found buying and rebuilding a 2nd hand set to cost them more than that

$1499 starting price... bargain at that price but you're likely to spend more.
