Hi guys, a few questions,
Where would I get 10 radials in aussie ???
I am restoring a 64' UK Cooper S, and need some quality tyres. You just can't get them over here in NZ. Any ideas on how much, and where to get them. My mate has a container coming over here in mid june, from the Gold Coast, so anyone handy to there would be a bonus.
So, price, brand and availability to the Gold Coast would be great !!!!
Any help please, and I will put you in my will !!!
Cheers, Colin

My problems with Aquajets is that they were not that great a tyre when they were new and they were not the standard tyre for the Australian Cooper S like everyone claims that they were. They were an optional tyre for about the last six months of Cooper S production.

They didn't invent Aquajets till 69 in the UK. :D

The only reason that I can think of to fit Aquajets is that they are Dunlops and Dunlop was the supplier for the Cooper S. :D

Chop,
In 1964, Aquajets hadn't been invented.
Back then we had- (in 145/10 radials)
Dunlop SP41
Dunlop SP44 (rally specials)
Olympic GT radial (the originals, not those that Alan Moffatt flogs)
Michelin X then ZX, then XAS

Probably more but I never ran `em so can't remember.
