Post subject:  Questions on panel and paint.

Hi my name is stuart, I have followed the forum for a while now.My background is in the panel and paint industry. I have been a spray painter for 24 years and had my own shop for about 17.I have also been a manager for a major paint company. If any one has any questions or needs any advice on any body work or paint , just send me a message as im glad to try and help. I usually read the forum each night.

This name of my shop is Stuart Ward auto refinishing.
Hanra, did you ever pitcrew at speedway years ago?

Ok, cant say Ive heard of ya. Where abouts are you located? PM me if you like.

No, but I did frequent the speedway back in 97-98. My car would of been there getting covered in dust then the dust turning to mud as the dew settled on it. It would of looked the same as it does now.

Hi Stuart, One of my cars has had a decal applied to the roof and then has been painted over  i want to strip it, what do you suggest would be the best way? thanks Anthony.

Hi Anthony, Im a big fan of soda blasting, It leaves the steel perfect for repainting. It is not abrasive like garnet.and will not distort the panel.
also cost effective compared to sanding , and not as messy as stripper.
should be one in your area . you will find them under abrasive blasting in the yellow pages. i dont think you will be dissapointed at the results.
